Lavrans Borgen

Lavrans Borgen (b. 2003) is a Drammen-based artist who works within a colorful and abstract expression. Through painting and hand-colored graphics, he explores the human emotional life – from the vulnerable to the humorous – and creates visual narratives characterized by strong colors, clear contours and figurative scenes. His works balance the inner and outer, and thematize belonging, love and interpersonal relationships, with an expression that both challenges and invites recognition.
